This weekend there will be the 1000 Sassi, among scenic views and dreamy routes

Wonderful and unexplored places, the pleasure of off-road driving, stress-free adventure thanks to the lack of competition… So many ingredients – and many more – for the “delicious binge” of dirt roads that awaits us departing from Orvieto, to accompany us gently through the countryside, hills and villages that will be the backdrop to the more than 700 wonderful kilometers to be covered in three days.

We start with the first stage, entirely in the Umbrian land, where we will visit wonderful places, such as Monteggabione and Panicale, medieval pearls that have resisted the passage of time.

On the second day we will skirt the valley of the Tiber River, trespassing into Lazio, entering the areas of Monte Rufeno Park, passing through the spectacular Acquapendente, until we enjoy the panorama of Lake Bolsena, visible in its magnificence only by driving along these dirt roads.

The third stage will start from Lake Corbara and pass through the fortified villages Civitella del Lago, Melezzole, Sante Restituta, Frattuccia, Colliciello and Amelia. Refreshment in the fantastic Vitorchiano, a historic village famous for Armata Brancaleone. It will pass through “the village of fairy tales” Sant’Angelo, then conclude the event in Orvieto, where participants will be welcomed with a closing dinner and awards ceremony.
