MBE MASTERCLASS: a special day to learn the secrets and techniques of off-road riding
Three “professors” on the roster: Andrea Verona, Franco Picco and Alvise Rigo
Three exceptional coaches, a 100 km off-road route and around twenty invited guests ready to put themselves to the test: MBE Masterclass, the new initiative by Motor Bike Expo.
The Altopiano di Asiago provided the backdrop for an experience that brought together learning and passion in a one-of-a-kind day for around twenty Motor Bike Expo guests. They had the opportunity to spend a unique day and learn from three names of absolute prestige in the world of two wheels and beyond: eight-time world enduro champion Andrea Verona, the legendary Dakar rider Franco Picco, and actor and personal trainer Alvise Rigo — all Motor Bike Expo ambassadors.
The theory with the “Coaches”
Franco Picco opened proceedings with the authority of someone who has crossed the most gruelling deserts on the planet, leading a masterclass on mechanics and navigation. A journey into the world of motorcycle preparation for rally and adventure riding: from essential equipment to the details that can make the difference between finishing and retiring.
Alvise Rigo then brought his dual experience as an athlete and wellness professional to the table, covering nutrition and physical preparation — essential topics for arriving at races in top shape and fuelling the body correctly.
Out of the classroom, into the mud
Once the theory session wrapped up, the moment everyone had been waiting for arrived: the practical. Andrea Verona, a champion of extraordinary talent, led the participants along the unpaved tracks of the Altopiano, sharing valuable advice on riding position, braking, line selection and handling on uneven terrain. Hour by hour, through rocks, mud, ice and snow, the group covered a route of 100 kilometres, entirely off-road, immersed in landscapes of rare beauty, with an unmissable stop at Malga Stenfle for lunch at altitude.
The entire route logistics were entrusted to Fango Tours, a leading name in two-wheel off-road, which managed every detail of the course with expert guides and continuous assistance. Alongside them, 4K Parti Speciali provided technical support to the group throughout the event.
The first MBE Masterclass certificate
To close the day, the first MBE Masterclass Certificate was presented. In the welcoming surroundings of the Hotel Europa in Asiago, Motor Bike Expo CEO Francesco Agnoletto personally presented a certificate to every participant — a testament to an experience that leaves its mark both on the trail and on paper.
A format created by the Motor Bike Expo team, with a second edition already planned, this initiative confirms MBE’s calling to be not only a leading trade event for the sector, but also a meaningful partner for companies and motorcycle enthusiasts alike.
