MBE AWARD
MBE Award is the most coveted award for customizers. Organized directly by the Motor Bike Expo staff, each year the top 10 motorcycles exhibited at the show selected by a panel of judges made up of international legends of the customization world are elected.
MBE PICK’S
MBE Pick’s is a showcase for the tuners attending Motor Bike Expo. Trade magazines, the most followed blogs and guests of honor… pick the best ones from all the bikes at the show. A dedicated article will be dedicated to the winners, as well as prizes from official partners.
CHOPPERS MAGAZINE INVITATIONAL
California’s Choppers Magazine organizes the chopper bike contest at MBE. The bikes are selected from all over Europe and exhibited in a bike show during the three-day fair.
CLUBSTYLE CONTEST

JEKILL AND HYDE AWARD
The bike with the most beautiful Jekill and Hyde exhaust at the show.
LIQUI MOLY PRIZE
The Liqui Moly award for MBE’s most beautiful motorcycle. It was presented by Michele Barbirati, Liqui Moly Italy manager, and Tina Martella, Liqui Moly Italy marketing manager.
BIKE SHOW LOWRIDE
Sunday’s grand finale is traditionally tied to LowRide Magazine’s awards given to custom garages and private individuals, who compete against the big names in customization.
METZELER AWARD
The Metzeler Award, instituted and organized by the well-known tire brand of the Pirelli Group,is the recognition of the best tuners who exhibit at MBE a special equipped with Metzeler “tires”.
SPECIAL MOPED AND SCOOTER CONTEST
The contest dedicated to Vespa, Lambretta, scooter, moped, hemostat and the “craziest” mopeds at MBE 2024. We will see some great things at the booth of Special Without Gears!
STUNTMAN CONTEST
Having become one of MBE’s must-attend and unmissable events, the Stunt World Contest is preparing for its eighth edition.
From all over the world, the best stuntmen meet in Verona, competing in breathtaking tricks and evolutions–who will be the world’s best stuntman?
CONTESTS FROM PREVIOUS EDITIONS
CLUBSTYLE CALIFORNIA
Another prominent award ceremony is that of the contest American Performance & Clubstyle, the custom style also made popular in Italy by TV series such as “Sons of Anarchy” and “Mayans MC.”
Best Paint and Best Clubstyle awards went to the Godzilla from Dynamite Garage, while Boccin Custom Cycles took home Best FXR and Best of Classic. The Max New York by Carbon Visionary excelled among Top Carbon, while Roberto Pellegrino’s RP Motorcycle, made by H-D Bergamo and painted by MS Artrix was voted Best Bagger.
Piffio burned through the competition for Best Performance, while the French of the Punta Bagna Show went for Best Dyna. Good guys don’t always win in life: and indeed it was the Bad Boys Garage that took Best in Show.
CONCORSO D’ELEGANZA
The staff of Motociclismo Magazine organizes the “Elegance Contest” for the most beautiful two-wheeled achievements.
Vittorio Sgarbi and Norihiko Harada, Vice President Design of the Zagato brand, awarded prizes to the top three in the ‘Cruise’, ‘Gravel’ and ‘Wind’ categories, designed to respectively gather the specials best suited for travel, whether long or short, the ‘taxed’ ones that chase the much in vogue strand of scramblers and, finally, the sporty fairing or cafe racer, those whose superstructures seem to have been drawn by the wind.
CUSTOM CHROME EUROPE CHAMPIONSHIP
Numerous prizes in credits to be used in the purchase of one-of-a-kind parts for preparers by the leading motorcycle accessories distribution company.
DESIGN AWARD
One of the most prestigious awards the one presented by Karen Davidson and Ray Drea, Harley-Davidson’s head of design. It is presented to the most aesthetically special motorcycle according to the two pillars of the U.S. icon.
FERRO DELL’ANNO
The garage challenge! Up-and-coming customizers and individuals compete for the coveted prize organized by Ferro Magazine dedicated to Specialty Motorcycles and “home made” irons.

PEREWITZ PICK
Jody Perewitz, salt lake speed record-girl and daughter of customizer Dave Perewitz, awards the Perewitz Paint Pick to the best paint job spotted among the Verona pavilions
SCRAMBLER WITH COFFEE
Special Cafe magazine is organizing the “Scrambler with Coffee by Special Cafe” contest.
At MBE 2022 Best in Show the cafe racer Ducati Monster 900 prepared by Mr. Fighter of Treviso. Refined in its craftsmanship and mechanical details, it stands out for its handsome single-sided swingarm and aluminum toe box with built-in exhaust pipes.
Instead, the Top 3 awardees were the Ducati Monster 600 from Overdrive Custom, the BMW K100 from Remastered Cycles, and the Ducati S4 from P.M. Motorbike.
SURYANATION MOTORLAND CUSTOM CONTEST
Indonesia’s largest festival dedicated to Custom motorcycles in addition to being present in Verona with a major exhibition area, organizes a contest at Motor Bike Expo that selects the best Specials on display, numerous cash prizes and the “Greatest of Show” will be hosted at the final

THE ART OF KUSTOM
The 10th edition of Motor Bike Expo in Verona coincides precisely with the 10-year anniversary of 70’s Helmets, hence the idea to bring the best oriental custom painting and pinstriping artists to MBE 2018 visitors by organizing a tight contest named “The Art Of Kustom.”
